Cervioni (Chair-v-Own-e) is on the East side of the Island, a charming village perched on the hillside looking down to the sea. It has an active community cultural association "ADECEC", which supports a volunteer radio station, "Voce Nustrale" which broadcasts over the internet (see music). ADECEC also supports a wonderful Corsican museum in the middle of Cervioni, where one can learn about Corsica's fascinating history. It's a beautiful, authentic town, off the standard tourist tracks, that's well worth a visit.
